I am a Computer Science PhD researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP) specializing in 3D/4D reconstruction from images, computer vision, and geometric modeling. My current work focuses on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and geometrically consistent surface extraction.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics from the State University of Londrina (UEL). While there, I managed over 40 distinct projects within the Mathematics Tutorial Education Program (PET) and spent over two years as a data science researcher to optimize Covid-19 spread predictions. This background heavily inspires my approach to computer vision, a transition I solidified during my Master’s degree focusing on human skin tone classification, as well as through industry experience as a Computer Vision Engineer at Wikki/Wiise Brazil applying state-of-the-art models to microfossil segmentation.
